Homebase is looking for a talented candidate to join the team as a General Accountant. The candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with core members of our high-performing team and will have the following responsibilities:

• Monitor and make booking all cash and non-cash transactions of the company;
• Perform timely accounting entries and creation of financial statements;
• Ensure accurate payments of obligations and collections of receivables;
• Reconcile financial discrepancies as they arise;
• Liaise and work with tax authorities, auditors, and bankers to ensure strict compliance with accounting regulations, standards and practices;
• Communicate the Company's financial situation by analyzing liabilities, preparing profit and loss statements, and indicate necessary corrective actions;
• Other finance and accounting responsibilities.

We are looking for candidates who fulfill the following criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field;
• 3+ years of full-time work experience in Accounting Field;
• Chief Accountant certification and relevant certifications (CPA, CMA, etc.) are a plus;
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS) and ideally Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Accounting Standards (IFRS);
• Excellent MS Excel skills;
• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail;
• Experience with accounting software such as Misa;
• Experience with general ledger functions.
